Dispatch and Shipping Times

If your item is in stock it will usually be picked and dispatched within 5 business days. Delivery times may be greater than 10 days for regional or remote areas and during peak season from mid-November through to early January.

Some Australian couriers are experiencing delays and congestion. Refer to our delivery update for more details.

We do not take responsibility for delays in the delivery of your order due to factors that are outside of our control such as courier delays, flooding, Covid-19 lockdowns, strike action, or acts of God.

 

Product Substitutions (Customer-Approved)

If an item in your order is unavailable at the time of fulfilment, and you have selected the "Allow Replacement Products" option at checkout, we may substitute that item with an equivalent product of the same or greater value at no additional cost to you. Substituted products will be matched as closely as possible in terms of function, quality, and purpose.

By selecting this option, you agree that the substituted item meets your needs and that you are willing to accept a reasonable alternative. If you are not satisfied with the substituted product upon receipt, you may contact our customer service team to request a return, exchange, or store credit in accordance with our returns policy and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

We will only substitute items where this option has been expressly selected at checkout. If you do not select this option, your order will be placed on hold while we contact you to confirm how you’d prefer to proceed.

 

Returns & Cancellation Policy

We take pride in our reputation for quality and value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase we´ll assist you with a prompt refund provided the item is in new condition with unopened packaging. 

 

Returns will be accepted up to 30 days from the purchase date. Shipping will not be refunded. A 15% restocking fee will apply for returns.

 

You must open your shipment immediately after receiving it to inspect that all parts ordered are correct. Please inspect for any signs of damage. If you received damaged goods from us you must contact us within 7 days of shipping.

 

You cannot cancel your order once it has been placed, you will need to return your item to us following the instructions below.

 

Returns fall into three categories: Products may be returned because they are:

1. Parts incorrectly ordered, no longer required.
2. Parts have become faulty or damaged in transit to you.
3. The incorrect part was shipped to you.

All products being returned must be in new condition and include any retail packaging, manuals, or other included items to qualify for a refund or exchange.

 

We undertake to then exchange or reimburse you the price of all the products. You may be charged a restocking fee depending on the reason for the return unless a subsequent order to the same or greater value is placed, or alternatively, a credit to that value can be placed on your account for future use within a maximum time period of 12 months. You will be responsible for the cost of the return shipment unless the return is due to return reasons 2 or 3. Specific return notes and exclusions: To be eligible for a return, all parts must be unused and in new condition.

 

Chemicals:

To be eligible for return, all chemical containers must be unopened.

 

Filters:

To be eligible for a return, all filters must be unused and still completely wrapped.

 

Electrical and electronic components:

Any electrical or electronic part that shows signs of having been used or fitted in any way are not eligible for return.

 

Special Order

Any special order items are not eligible for return; this includes but is not limited to spa covers.

 

Spa Covers

Spa World Australia Pty Ltd will not be responsible for the return of a spa cover unless there is a manufacturer's defect. If a spa cover is misordered or mistakenly measured by you, Spa World Australia Pty Ltd will not refund or exchange it. This includes but is not limited to stock and generic covers as well as custom-made covers unless the cover has been made to dimensions other than those agreed to at the time of order. When custom covers are made they are made to the dimensions that you provide. By completing and paying for your order you are agreeing that you have checked your measurements and that they are correct. The measurements that you provide are what your cover is built to.

 

Email images of parts requiring identification

It is your responsibility to determine that the part ordered is correct. If you are unsure about a product you wish to purchase, please contact us BEFORE you order. Do not guess what part is required. Our friendly staff are happy to assist in identifying parts via emailed images, but cannot be held responsible for misidentifying your part where the images or information supplied stop us from identifying the product or when an alternate possible match to an obsolete part is suggested. We will provide emailed links to the part suggested for YOU to confirm identification before ordering. If you don´t want to take the risk of ordering an incorrect part, please employ a local competent spa technician to identify and carry out repairs. Installation of purchased goods It is assumed and required that a qualified tradesperson is employed in the installation of electrical goods. It is illegal and dangerous to carry out any electrical work without the appropriate qualifications. You must ensure that your qualified tradesman accurately identifies the required part to affect repair, as any electrical/electronic component including circuit boards purchased from us CANNOT be returned if it shows signs of installation, for the reason of incorrectly ordered / no longer required.

Easy Exchange: We will gladly exchange an incorrectly ordered item. You have 30 days from the delivery of the product to exchange it. See below for particular product exclusions. All products being returned must be in new condition and include any retail packaging, manuals, or other included items to qualify for a refund or exchange. You will be responsible for the return and replacement shipping. All items must be returned and shipping paid for before the replacement item is sent.

Express Refund: Once your return is received and inspected by the fulfilment centres (usually within 10 days of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment. This credit will not include any original shipping charges. You may also check the status of your return by logging into your account and viewing your order history. We will email you a receipt confirming the credit.

Please note: Once we initiate the credit for your return, the actual date that the refund is posted to your account is determined by the company that issued the original payment. Please be patient, it may take up to two billing cycles for the credit transaction to appear on your statement.

Warranty Terms

Unless otherwise stated, all products have a 12-month return-to-base warranty against manufacturing defects. Return to base means it is your responsibility to cover the cost of returning the item to our warehouse for inspection. If you have an electrical item that requires repair or replacement under warranty, you must provide your receipt to prove that a qualified electrician or spa technician did the installation. The labour cost for any electrical or installation work is your responsibility.

8. Transborder Data Flows (Australian Privacy Principle 8)

There may be occasions when personal information is transferred outside of Australia within our network, or where we engage a third party to provide goods or services or an element of the goods or services to you. Generally, this will occur in the provision of goods or services to you and the transfer of this information outside of Australia will have been disclosed to, and authorised by, you as part of our trading terms. When transferring personal information outside Australia within our network, we will comply with the requirements of the Act that relate to transborder data flows. Where the international transfer of personal information is to countries whose privacy laws may be considered not to provide the same level of protection as Australia, our commitment to safeguard your privacy will not change and remains subject to existing obligations and this Policy. Our global head office is located in New Zealand and is managed by Spa World New Zealand. All your personal information collected by us will be transferred to this entity in New Zealand.

9. Government Related Identifiers (Australian Privacy Principle 9)

We will not adopt a government related identifier of yours and will not use or disclose a government related identifier unless permitted to do so under the Act.

10. Quality of Personal Information (Australian Privacy Principle 10)

We will take steps (if any) as are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure that your personal information we collect is accurate, up‑to‑date and complete. Security (Australian Privacy Principle 11) We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information collected by us, and we review and update our security measures in light of current technologies.

We will take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information that we hold from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us and comply with this Privacy Policy. We currently use contractors based in the Philippines who have access to your information in order to assist us in performing services for you. The ways in which these contractors assist us (and so may have access to your information) include accessing your order information and contact details in order to provide customer service.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet is totally secure. We cannot guarantee the security of any information sent to us via electronic means nor can we guarantee that our data storage measures are absolutely secure. Our liability for data security of your personal information will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Notifiable Data Breaches

We take the security of your personal and sensitive information very seriously. However, sometimes a data breach can occur. An “Eligible Data Breach” means a privacy breach where it is reasonable to believe serious harm to an affected individual or individuals or is likely to be so caused, where that breach involves an organisation governed by the Act, and that organisation has not been able to prevent the likely risk of serious harm. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that an Eligible Data Breach has occurred, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and take all steps practicable to address the breach.

13. Access to Information and Correction of Information (Australian Privacy Principle 12) and 13)

We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. If, at any time, you discover that information held about you is incorrect, you may contact our Privacy Officer to have the information corrected via email on privacy@spaworld.com.au.

You may request access to your personal information by contacting the Privacy Officer. Except where some legal restrictions might apply you will be provided access to any personal information we have collected or hold about you. If we refuse to allow you access to your personal information held by us, we will explain why. We will deal with all requests to access to personal information as quickly as possible but may charge you a fee where access is provided.

14. Complaints

Should you have any complaints about the collection, use, storage or disclosure of your personal information please direct such complaint by email to our Privacy Officer on: privacy@spaworld.com.au. We will treat any complaint about a breach of privacy legislation or any relevant registered code seriously and will investigate any breach of which we become aware – including how it occurred and how best to prevent such a breach from occurring again.
