SENSA-HEAT Heat Pump Interface 

The DT-H5RO-I controller is designed to operate the circulation pump in a spa or pool when circulation is called for by either the chlorinator or heater.

Heat Demand
Many spa and pool circulation pumps run for only 8 hours a day. In colder temperatures, extra circulation is needed to maintain the water at the desired temperature, by circulating it through the heat pump system and turning the heat pump on.

The heat pump/gas heater is equipped with a ‘Demand Heat” function that will assist in maintaining the temperature of the pool by communicating to the H5R0-I.

This controller can be configured to override the filter pump when heat is called for by the heat pump. The heat pump monitors the temperature within its defined run times and calls for the circulation pump to run, pumping water through the heat pump to bring the water up to the desired temperature.

This will ensure that the water in your spa or pool is always at your ideal temperature, and always uses the heat pump - which is the most efficient method of heating.
