Spa Sanitiser: An approved sanitiser will help kill bacteria in your spa pool. Most popular sanitisers include chlorine, hydrogen peroxide or lithium. We don’t recommend using bromine as it is corrosive and can damage the components in your spa.

Spa Shock: You should also use a spa shock product periodically which helps break down organic material in your spa which can build up after heavy use.

Water balance chemicals are required to help keep the pH and alkalinity in your spa water within the correct range. These include pH decreasers and alkalinity increasers.

Water Clarifiers: Other chemicals for your spa include anti-foam, clarifiers and pipe degreasers which can all help keep your spa water crystal clear and sparkling.

Additionally, unlike chlorine, there is no straightforward test to determine the concentration of enzyme treatment in the water, making it challenging to determine when additional treatment is needed.
