Important Compatibility Information

1. This lifter will only work on swim spa covers that have a hinge (Material that joins the cover panels) on the cover.
2. This lifter should only be installed on spas that have structural support behind the cabinet panels.
3. Not suitable for Australian-made 2023 Vortex swim spas (Serial number starting with V or selected imported 2023 and 2024 Vortex swim spas).
4. Not suitable on 2024+ Vortex Portable spa models.
5. If in doubt, please contact us with the serial number from your swim spa and we can confirm if this will fit.

Notes about using a cover lifter with a swim spa cover

• If used on a Vortex Aqualap or Hydrozone swim spa, this cover lifter can only lift the hinged panels.
• In the case of a Palladium or Titanium spa cover, the lifter will only lift 2 of the three cover panels.
• Additional panels will need to be removed by hand.
• In the case of an Aqualap or Hydrozone, you can install one cover lifter at each end of your swim spa. The 2 lifters can only lift 4 (2 at each end) of the 6 cover panels. The 2 centre cover panels will need to be removed by hand.
• Installation of the bracket should be no higher than 100mm below the spa shell lip
• Clearance needed is 600mm on the side where the cover will stand and 200mm on two other sides

Important Safety Notice

If you are installing a cover lifter on your swim spa, you will be required to fence around the area containing the steps and the cover lifter. (except NSW where fencing may not be required). If you have received advice that you only need to fence around your steps, this does not apply when a cover lifter is installed on your swim spa.

Portable spas require fencing around the entire spa in all states except NSW, regardless of whether a cover lifter is installed.

Equipotential Bonding Compliance Obligation

This product is subject to Equipotential Bonding compliance in accordance with the Australian and New Zealand Standards (AS/NZS 3000: 2018 Electrical Installations) otherwise known as the Wiring Rules. 

If this product is installed within 1.25m of a body of water including spa, swim spa or pool, then Equipotential Bonding MUST be performed by a licensed electrical person prior to the product being used. This is a mandatory requirement. As the purchaser of this product, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with this requirement at your own expense.
