Cover Sensor Overview

• Feature/Benefit: The cover detection sensor detects when the hot tub cover is opened. This feature is useful in case of unwanted access, or if the cover is blown off due to inclement weather.

• Shared plastic bracket design; fits any standard poly cover (retrofittable)

• Brackets are pre-assembled in the

  SmartTub® Wireless Sensor Kit

• Leverages existing window / door

  contact sensor technology that uses magnet and sensor. Re-purposed for hot tub (patent pending). Signal is read through foam hinge “pillow”

• Waterproof sensor (IP-68 rated) protected from moisture

• Sensor and magnet attach to the bracket with 3M VHB tape, no screws

• Cover sensor battery can be replaced

  by removing 4 screws on the sensor to

  access the battery

Feature/Benefit: During the water change process, save time with the added convenience of SmartTub® alerting you when the water is fully drained so the hose can be added to start filling. Receive a second alert when filling is completed in order to turn off water to avoid overflowing. Detection sensor installs in 2 positions and will detect presence of water that can potentially damage expensive components (pumps, etc). Leverage home security system’s existing technology that detects water in plumbing, such as sinks or basements

Option 1: Flood Detection (metal side up): detects any water immediately
Option 2: Preemptive Protection (metal side down): detects water intrusion before a major issue - .25” of water needs to be present
