Heat pumps are the most energy-efficient method of spa heating, allowing you to use your spa for longer and saving you money on your power bill.   

• This heat pump can be installed to heat spas and plunge pools with an electronic control system (please check with us if you are unsure) 
• You can control the heat pump on the heat pump unit, it does not interface with the controller in your spa
• Suited for spas and plunge pools up to 2500L

Spa Heat pumps work like reverse-cycle air conditioners. A spa heat pump takes the heat from the ambient air and transfers it to your spa through a heat exchanger. The advantage of this is you can also reverse the cycle and cool your spa by taking heat from your spa and putting it out into the ambient air.

• Rated heating:  8300w, heating mode 10-40 degrees C
• Rated cooling:  5800w, cooling mode 10-40 degrees C
• Input power: 1.5kw, 7.2A, 230v single phase
• Plumbing Connection: 40mm / 1.5"- requires a minimum flow of 50 litres per minute.

NOTE:

1. 40mm / 1.5" plumbing connection - requires a minimum flow of 36 litres per minute. If you are using Purezone filters change those out for pleated filters.
2. 1 Meter clear area is required around the heat pump for airflow.
