MagnaSpa™ is a 50/50 blend of Magnesium and Potassium that provides around 60%* more magnesium than found in MagnaPool™. 

Please note that regular dosing with an approved sanitiser is still needed to maintain your water. Please review the recommended dosage on the label of your sanitiser.

MagnaSpa™ frequently asked questions

Q: How often should MagnaSpa™ be added to my spa?

A: You should add MagnaSpa™ every time you change your spa water. In a portable spa, it is recommended to change your water every 3-4 months, in a swim spa, it is recommended to change water every 12-18 months. Water changes may be needed more often in spas with heavy use.

Q: Does MagnaSpa™ affect total hardness?

A: Yes MagnaSpa™ in your water can impact your total hardness readings, you should use test strips that measure water hardness. We recommend the Lamotte 4 in 1 test strips  The magnesium hardness will be approximately 400ppm

Q: Will MagnaSpa™ raise the salinity in my spa water? 

A: Yes, 3kg of MagnaSpa will raise the salinity to approximately 1500 to 2000ppm in a 1000L spa.
